Even though the Dallas County Fair is over, the Speedway in Adel will have more races happening tonight.

The Dallas County Fair Board is hosting a Pit Party today. The organization states that this is the second year they will be doing the event as the gates will open at 4pm, with hotlaps taking place at 6pm. According to the fair board, racing will follow the hotlaps, as there will be music playing as well as a bags tournament in the pits at the conclusion of the races. 

The organization outlines that tickets for a pit pass will cost $25 and $15 for children under the age of 10. The fair board notes that if people would like to participate in the bags tournament, then they will need to pay $20 per team. All the festivities will happen today at the Dallas County Fairgrounds, 28057 Fairground Road, in Adel.
