A local retail promotion in Jefferson concludes today.

Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says the Sidewalk Sales includes several local retailers with their big summer clearance sale where people can find some deals and other treasures in the latter half of the summer season. He invites everyone to support these places.

“These are the folks that are supporting some of the (other) fundraising events. We just had the (Greene County) fair recently and so you see a lot of small businesses contributing to that and making things happen.”
