2025 Greene County High School graduate Kamden Kinne took part in Saturday’s Annual Shrine Bowl All-Star Football game as a member of the South team. The offensive lineman earned All-State honors in Class 2A last fall when the Rams surprised many with a 5-5 overall record, a first round playoff victory, and a third place finish in a district dominated by two top 10 rated teams in Kuemper Catholic (Carroll) and Roland-Story (Story City). Kinne is the son of Kyle and Amanda Kinne of Jefferson.
The South squad was a 16-13 winner over the North inside the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Adlai Lounsberry of Van Meter hit the game winning field goal, which was set up when Woodward-Granger’s Maximus Dalton caught a long pass from Iowa City West quarterback Jack Wallace. Lounsberry hit three field goals and was the Offensive MVP for the South.
Kinne was be a guest on tonight’s PM Sports Magazine KG98 Edition at 6 p.m.
