
The West Central Valley School Board met in regular session July 16th.
The Board approved the 2025-26 official expense, not to exceed $40.000, 2025-26 computer fees, and after a presentation from SiteLogiQ, tabled a decision on both the professional service agreement and professional development agreement to get more information. They then set a date for a hearing on the proposed issuance of approximately $6 million School Infrastructure Sales, Services and Use Tax Revenue Bonds, and approved before and after school daycare/wrap around care for 2025-26 with Kids Campus, and an overnight trip request by the girls basketball team.
The Board also approved the purchase of technology (five interactive panels, 22 Dell desktops, 290 MacBook Air laptops), a middle school social studies curriculum, and updated appendix for the school resource officer agreement with the city of Stuart. Final items approved included the 2025-26 versions of the high school, middle school, elementary and preschool student handbooks, as well as the first reading of the 300 and 100 series of board policies.
