The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center (AC/GC) Booster Club will be holding their annual fundraiser Saturday.

Member Randy Carney says that the AC/GC Legends Golf Tournament will begin with team check in from 8-8:45am with tee off at 9am at the Guthrie Center Golf Course. Awards will be given out later in the day during the dinner at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds Event Center. Carney mentions that once everyone is finished golfing, there is the fundraiser meal, again at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds Event Center, so individuals can enjoy the meal in the air conditioning. He adds that an adult meal is $30, and includes pork carnita, gourmet mac, baked beans and a dessert for $30.

Carney explains that the doors open at 4pm for the meal, with food being served at 5pm. He shares that there will also be a live auction that will begin at 6:30pm, and a silent auction that ends at 6:45pm. Some of the auction items include a football autographed by Iowa State University Head Football Coach Matt Campbell, autographed pictures and apparel from the Minnesota Vikings, tickets to the Kansas City and Omaha Henry Doorly zoos, Iowa State Fair tickets and much more.

Once festivities in the event center die down, individuals can head over to the live concert put on by the Guthrie County Fair Board. Concert entertainment includes live music by Laura Bryna at 7pm, Jason Pritchett at 8pm and Aiden Flathers at 9:30pm. There is a $10 entrance fee for the concert.
