
With the summer ball season finished for the AC/GC Chargers, we look back at how the players did.
For the softball team, 8th grader Trinity Calhoun started in five of the 12 games she played in, taking the plate 13 times for one run, and was walked three times, hit by pitch once, reached on error once, and struck out three times for an on base percentage of .235. She was also successful on her sole stolen base attempt.
For the baseball team, 8th grader Cal Clark started both games he played in for two at bats, along with one put out and one error for two total chances, and a fielding percentage of .500. From the mound, he pitched one inning, throwing 37 times to five batters for an opposing batting average of .200, allowed one hit, three runs of which one was earned, walked two and struck out one for a 7.00 ERA and 3.00 walks and hits per inning pitched.
