Josh Vannornam has been working all summer with Perry athletes. This is the third straight year of hosting the workouts. He says one of the keys to keeping it fun is by making it competitive.
“The last couple years I’ve been here I’ve been trying to sounds weird, but train the kids to compete and have fun and have energy but sometimes you got to do that. So anytime the kids are competing is when they’re going to get all fired up and jacked up.”
The buy in has been apparent this Summer with number of athletes attending workouts everyday at the Perry High School some as early as 6A. This week is the final week of summer workouts before the dead period starts next Monday.
