Panora’s town celebration is fast approaching.
Panora Chamber of Commerce Coordinator Erica Matthies says that the beloved event will be from August 1st through 3rd this year, which begins on Friday next week. She tells Raccoon Radio about some returning events from previous years.
“Some fun things that (are) tried and true that have been around. We’re gonna have our vendors and cribbage, live music, all of that happening on Friday. We have a Cruise the Loop and Wine and Yoga. We have live music with Kyle Jackson Friday. And then our street dance will be Oreo Meat Wagon. And it is free admission, BYOB and bring your own lawn chair, and that will all be happening on the main street and town square.”
Matthies mentions that Saturday will have the parade, along with many food vendors and other fun events, and everything spills over to Sunday for the big finale of the celebration.
