Raccoon Valley Radio continues to highlight players from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball Team, as today’s focus is on sophomore Jack Siefken.

Siefken appeared in 23 of the Tigers’ 32 games this past season, stepping up to the plate 45 times, scoring 5 runs off 10 hits, with 6 singles, 3 doubles, hit a home run, and marked 9 RBIs. He was successful stealing one base on a single attempt, then defensively, Siefken had 24 assists and 8 putouts. He had the most starts in the pitcher position with 10, going 44.2 innings, accumulating an ERA of 3.29 and 40 strikeouts. ADM’s season ended on July 11th with a 10-0 loss to Oskaloosa in the Class 3A Substate 8 first-round game.
