With the summer ball season finished for the AC/GC Chargers, we look back at how the players did.

For the softball team, 8th grader Kailee Kautzky started in all 23 of the team’s games, taking the plate 47 times for eight runs, four singles, one double and one triple for a total of six hits, four RBIs and a sacrifice bunt. She was walked three times, hit by pitch three times, reached on error once and struck out six times for nine total bases, a .128 batting average, .226 on base percentage and .191 slugging percentage. Kautzky was successful on all five of her stolen base attempts, had 15 assists, 35 put outs and eight errors for 58 total chances and an .862 fielding percentage.

For the baseball team, senior Taytum Bates started in all but one of the team’s 24 games, going to bat 51 times for 14 runs, 12 singles, two doubles and a triple for a total of 15 hits, 10 RBIs, and one sacrifice bunt. He was walked 19 times, hit by pitch seven times, reached on error once and struck out 16 times for 19 total bases, a .294 batting average, .532 on base percentage and .373 slugging percentage. Bates was successful on one of two stolen base attempts, had 17 assists, 141 put outs and five errors for 164 total chances and a fielding percentage of .969.
