The Panora Public Library has a fun animal themed event coming up.
Library Director Molly Allen says that on Tuesday July 29th, they will have a special program on raptors, or birds of prey, that will take place outside the library in the town square. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Cassie Wendel will be the presenter, and how Wendel’s program was brought up to her.
“I became aware of it through one of our foundation board members, actually. She made me aware of this program. And when I heard about it, it sounded really interesting and fun to me. So I contacted Cassie, and she agreed to come bring her birds.”
Allen mentions that Wendel actually helps rehabilitate birds, and will be bringing some American kestrels with her for the program. The event is July 29th beginning at 5:30pm, and so long as the weather is nice, will be held outside.
