The Perry Chamber of Commerce is inviting the youth out to the farmer’s market tomorrow for fun activities.

According to Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, the second and fourth Thursday of each month is “Kids Night,” featuring lots of events from Iowa PBS Kids. She notes that the activities range from educational to learning-based content. Pasutti adds that youth will also be given an opportunity to win “Kids Bucks” to purchase items at the market, and says that there has been a good turnout so far this summer.

“We’re seeing probably about a hundred kids come through the market, plus their families and then they all get $10 to go spend at the market, which is really fantastic, so encourage people to go check it out.”

Pasutti mentions that Perry’s Farmer’s Market happens every Thursday along 2nd Street through September. She shares that the kids’ activities take place in Josh Davis Plaza.
