The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball Team is one game away from returning to the Class 4A State Championship game, but will have to get past Pella today in Fort Dodge for the semifinal round.
The 5th-ranked Tigers are coming off a 4-1 9-inning victory against Dallas Center-Grimes on Monday, while the 8th-seeded Dutch upset the number 1 ranked Cedar Rapids-Xavier Saints 5-1. On the other hand for ADM, it’s sophomore Kinzie Maxwell with 52 hits, 7 runs scored, 32 RBIs and 4 homers.
The Dutch are averaging about 5.2 runs scored a game, while the Tigers are sitting at 6.6 runs.
