Perry volleyball will have their third head coach in three years come this fall.  Lynn Hulgan stepped down after one season as the Jayettes went 16-18.  Hulgan followed Katelyn Whelchel, who lasted two years.  The long time softball coach turned Activities Director, Tina Lutterman, will oversee the volleyball team this fall.

Perry had struggled to find a replacement for this upcoming season before Lutterman stepped into the role.  She had been the softball coach for 15 years before taking the AD role in July of 2024.  She relinquished coaching softball at that time.

Lutterman had been working with the girls during the summer during the open gyms.

The Jayettes graduated five members from last year’s team.  Practices are allowed to begin on August 11 with games on August 25.  Perry is scheduled to begin the year on September 6.
