Athletic facility upgrades are being made by the Greene County Community School District. Activities Director Dave Wright talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the improvements at Linduska Field for track & field.

“The track is going to get an upgrade with resurfacing and repainting. The high jump area is going to be expanded and we’ll be pouring some concrete. The long jump area is going to be upgraded as well with more artificial surface and getting rid of the big rocks that are in between the two long jump runways. Out in the throwing shot put and discus area we’re going to do two new rings for each, so those are probably the biggest visual improvements.”

Other facility improvements are also in the works.
