The Perry Police Department is cautioning the public to be on the lookout for a stray dog, following an attack on Friday.
According to the department, a large brown dog with white spots was seen loose near the 400-block of 16th Street and Highway 141 Friday afternoon, and ended up attacking a person, causing serious injuries. The department states the dog then was seen running south bound into a corn field. They warn people not to approach or attempt to catch the dog, as it is aggressive and dangerous. The department asks anyone who sees the dog to immediately call their office at (515)-465-4636.
