
A dog that allegedly attacked a person in Perry has not been located yet, according to law enforcement.
The Perry Police Department reported a large brown dog with white spots that attacked a person on Friday in the 400 block of 16th Street and Highway 141, causing serious injuries. The department believes the dog is residing south of town, and has heard possible sightings from residents but has confirmed that it hasn’t been caught.
The department adds that another loose dog was spotted on Saturday, and that owner was issued a citation. They encourage residents to not approach the large brown dog with white spots if found, as it poses a serious threat. If you see the animal, call the Perry Police Department at (515)-465-4636.
