Adel-DeSoto-Minburn sophomore Ben Plaisance is looking to build on a strong baseball year.

Plaisance played in 28 of the Tigers 32 games, stepping up to the plate 54 times, totaling 10 runs scored on 8 hits, and 8 RBIs. In the outfield, he played at shortstop, racking up 52 assists and 27 putouts. Plaisance got three starts at the pitcher position, finishing with a 1-1 record, striking out 16 batters in 23 innings. ADM lost the Class 3A Substate 8 first-round game against Oskaloosa on July 11th to end the year at 9-23.
