Jim Lindsay has officially stepped down from his position as Activities Director at West Central Valley, and reflected on the transition from Activities Director to fan, when not pertaining to football.
Still head coach of the West Central Valley football team, coach Lindsay spoke on the feeling of being able to sit in the stands as a fan, during the baseball and softball seasons.
“It was pretty nice, you know, like for the tail end of the baseball and softball seasons, I got to just be a fan and and it was awesome to just sit back and watch the kids play and do their thing. I’m going to miss a lot of parts of the AD part, but that was nice to just be able to kind of sit back and watch and not have to worry about anything, and make sure you know, not have to worry about buses and all that stuff. So yeah, it was pretty nice to just be able to you know, sit my lawn chair and and watch the kids play.”
With family week officially going on at WCV, Jim Lindsay and the Wildcat football team prepare for the WCV High School football camp which begins on Monday, August 4th.
