In their July meeting, the Panorama School Board approved changes and renewals of several of their handbooks.

Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that there weren’t a lot of changes to the certified and non-certified employee handbooks, but tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there were a few to the preschool handbook.

“Those changes, we are going to a full day preschool option for this school year. So we had some changes in there about drop off times and what that looks like. And it’s at no cost. I know the state is looking at a full day preschool option and full funded, but right now the state is half funded. But we believe here that preschool should be accessible to all without a fee. So we’re going to a full day preschool program without cost to families, other than just the lunch costs.”

Huebner mentions that all the handbooks were approved, including the elementary and secondary school handbooks, and the bullying/harassment handbook. He adds that those also only had slight changes.
