After a trip to the 2025 state softball tournament, four Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs softball athletes were named on the Class 4A Southeast team alongside athletes from Burlington, Norwalk, Newton, Oskaloosa and Pella. DCG has the second most representation on the all conference team, just behind Norwalk with five members.

The four Mustangs recognized for their hard work this season include: senior Sophia Bauman, junior Addison Lyddon and sophomores Tessa Jones and Jenah Gray. All four Mustangs would play a pivotal role for this year’s squad, as Lyddon would be the Mustangs starting catcher. Jones would be the Mustangs ace pitcher. Bauman would run the infield from the shortstop position and Gray would run first base while being a power hitter for the Mustang lineup.
