Josh Vannornam spent the past seven weeks working with Perry athletes to help them improve physically.  He’s also been working with members of his football team during the offseason.  One of the focuses has been on leadership.

“My job is to go out there and make them a better football player, but also a better boy becoming a man and then that’s one thing that leadership talks with that right so to become a good leader you have good influence on people around you.  Able to hone in myself and being a better leader in terms of developing these kids right so I’ve been starting with the quarterback group.  We’ve started a leadership group.”

He added the QB room has been meeting weekly to talk about leadership and taking responsibility for their actions.  Guthrie Wilson, Luke Adair, Ian Fisher, and Michael Bahtagic have all been attendance.  Fisher and Bahtagic are battling for the starting nod in 2025.
