Now that the softball season has fully concluded for the West Central Valley Wildcat softball team, the all conference awards for the West Central Activities Conference have been released. The Wildcats had two honorable mentions and a second team all conference member, as Lilian Gilbert would claim her place as an honorable mention on the WCAC team.

On the final game of the season, Gilbert would be named the team MVP by her own team members. Lili would end the final game of the season with two hits, an RBI, and two put outs. Coach Amber Clemens had nothing but praise for Lili, stating that Gilbert, “played hard all season.”

The Wildcat softball team will meet for one final time on August 11th, for the Wildcat softball banquet. The banquet will begin at 6pm in the WCV High School Commons, where the Lady Wildcats will receive their end of season awards and turn in their uniforms.
