Panorama Days begins Friday in Panora.
Panora Chamber of Commerce Coordinator Erica Matthies says that the Chamber is looking forward to the event this year, with festivities going from Friday into Sunday. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that one of the bigger parts of the celebrations is the annual parade on Saturday, and shares that there will be a lot of fun things for children to do as well.
“We also have our parade registration starting at 9am and the parade at 10. After that we’ll announce the citizen of the year and then our parade winners will also be announced and something new this year is there will be a $50 winnings to each category that is represented in the parade this year. So we’re excited about that. We still have the free and unlimited access to the kids zone and that is made possible by some amazing sponsors that will be highlighted throughout the Panorama Days event. That will include different inflatables, mechanical bull, face painting, character drawings, and more.”
Matties mentions that Panorama Days is just a big day for residents of Panora and Lake Panorama to come together and celebrate the community, and enjoy some fun stuff that will be going on. She adds that Raccoon Valley Radio will be broadcasting live Friday and Saturday.
