Perry sports will have multiple changes to the sideline this fall.  The Bluejays and Jayettes compete in five sports starting in August.  Two of those programs will be under new leadership.

Last year’s Boys Cross Country Coach, Nathan Krohn, will also handle the responsibilities of the girl’s team this fall.  2024 was the first year for Coach Krohn instructing the boys.  He has experience with the girls where he was the head coach in the mid 2010’s.  He replaces Megan Maylum.

Perry AD, Tina Lutterman, will oversee the volleyball team in 2025.  The long time softball coach returns to a sport that she was originally hired to coach in the early 2000’s.  Coach Lutterman becomes the third coach in three years as she replaces Lynn Hulgan.

Josh Vannornam will begin his second season as head coach of football this fall.  Coach Vannornam has been busy all summer running the Perry Strength and Performance Program and hosting football open gyms.

Jean Dowd returns for her 26th season to coach girl’s swimming.  During her tenure, swimming has been one of the most consistent Jayette sports.

Practice for Perry fall sports begins on August 11.
