7:04 am the Sheriff, a deputy, Greene County Ambulance, and Grand Junction Fire responded to a corn crib fire in the 2300 block of 290 th Street. The fire was started by lightning. There damage to the peak of the building.
7:25 am a deputy investigated a child custody issue in the 600 block of State Street, Scranton.
7:51 am a deputy assisted a motorist on 1 st Street, Rippey.
8:59 am a deputy assisted with cattle out on 220 th Street near J Avenue.
3:30 pm Duane Forkner 58 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for assault.
4:08 pm a deputy arrested Scott Spurgeon of Grand Junction for an arrest warrant for harassment in the 3 rd degree.

9:50 pm a deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1100 block of Livingston Street, Churdan. Alicia Ofelt 38 of Van Meter was arrested for 3 counts of assault on a person in a certain occupation, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, and harassment in the 1 st degree.
