This weekend will be home to a huge annual event across central Iowa.
The Iowa Highway 141 Garage Sale will be held over the span of 177 miles from Sloan all the way to Grimes. The Highway 141 Association explains that residents in one of the communities, who want to participate in the sale can contact their designated representative. The organization states that each town apart of the garage sale pays a large fee, but is asking individuals to pay a registration fee between $5-$10, with the money returning to be invested in your community.
It’s important for drivers to be mindful of vehicles being pulled off on the side of the road, and pedestrians out walking. The sale will include several communities in Dallas County of Dawson, Bouton, Woodward, and Perry.
