Although the softball season has come to a close for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs, senior Sophia Bauman had one last dance on the diamond as a high school athlete representing DCG on the 2025 Senior All Star White Team.

Head coach Todd Merical gave praise to his senior shortstop and also gave some insight on the All Star Game.

“Sophia Bauman is a senior All-Star, and its the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. They pick all the top seniors in all classes, its a very small pool that actually gets elected and she was one that got selected. ”

Bauman represented DCG for one final time last Saturday, as the senior wraps up her high school softball career.
