A father and son duo from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn will be appearing in the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Series this weekend.

ADM now-graduated senior Jaxson Book is the lone representative for the Tigers in the Large Schools West division, along with players from West Des Moines Valley, Fort Dodge, Carlisle, Johnston, Dallas Center-Grimes, Waukee, Ames, and Ankeny. His dad, Jason Book, is one of three coaches on the team, alongside Curt Castenson from DCG and Shawn Beenken from Waukee. 

The Large West Team faces the Small West today at 5pm at Ankeny High School, then battles Large East tomorrow at 10am at Ankeny, followed by a match versus Small East on Saturday at 10:30am over at Urbandale High School.
