Now that the softball season has concluded in the state of Iowa, Panorama has two softball athletes recognized as honorable mentions on the West Central Activities Conference Team. Eighth grader Lexi Galvan and freshman Bridget White were the two Panthers named as honorable mentions due to their hard work this season.

Lexi Galvan joined the Panthers this season as an eighth grader and quickly made her presence known, taking on the role as the Panthers ace pitcher. Galvan would end the season with a 5-8 record on the mound, with 75 2/3 innings pitched, with 55 strike outs and a 7.03 ERA.

Galvan would also find success on offense for Panorama, leading the Panthers in hits with 41 while also notching in 21 RBIs. In an impressive fashion, Galvan adjusted to the high level of play jumping into varsity play as an eighth grader.

The Panthers ended the season with a 9-22 record as both honorable mention athletes Lexi Galvan and Bridget White are excited to return to the diamond next summer.
