The Panora Public Library is hosting a local author in August.

Library Director Molly Allen says that they will be having Angela Youngers come to give a presentation on August 11th from 6-7pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why they wanted to have a local author in for one of their events for the month.

“It’s kind of a unique author talk because this author, when she does her visits, she likes to do interactive games and discussions about her books. We do like to bring in authors, and especially local ones, to talk about their books, and reading and just kind of share the love of reading with everyone.”

Allen mentions that they would like to ask those interested in attending to register beforehand, so that they know how many are coming. She adds that registration can be done by going to the events calendar on their website or by calling the library.
