Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center (AC/GC) FFA members have been very busy over the summer.

In an article from Chapter Reporters Ava Sneller and Gracie Hodges, the group shares that 13 members went to several different livestock judging events in Southwest Iowa. THree teams went to the Carroll County Fair, bringing back first, sixth and seventh places overall, with individuals taking second, third, fifth and eighth places. At the Adair County Fair, again three teams competed, taking fourth, fifth and sixth place, with individuals taking first, second, sixth and eighth place.

Two teams made the trip to the Adams County Fair, receiving third and ninth place, with individuals taking seventh and eighth. Then one team competed at the Montgomery County Fair, winning on the team level, and taking first, second, eleventh and twelfth as individuals. For the Guthrie County Showdown, two teams competed taking first and second, with individuals taking first through fifth, seventh, tenth eleventh and thirteenth. The next contest that members competed in was at the Page County Fair, with two teams representing. The teams took third and fifth, while individuals placed sixth, eighth and tenth. Finally, at the district contest in Cass County, one team competed and took ninth place overall.
