The final show for a regional theater organization in Jefferson begins this weekend.

History Boy Theatre Company announces “Rocky: the Musical” will have five shows, with the first two happening tonight and tomorrow night at 7pm. According to the non-profit organization, this Broadway show is based on the movie “Rocky” as it takes a look at Rocky Balboa, who is striving to get what he wants out of life and in the end finds the love of his life. 

The main cast for the musical includes Robbie Pedersen as Rocky, Sara Pedersen as Adrian, and Dynastacius Collins as Apollo Creed. Robbie is the founder of History Boy and has starred in every production for the last 17 years.

The performances are tonight, tomorrow night, as well as the next Friday and Saturday nights at 7pm and one final Sunday matinee at 2pm.
