Perry softball had just 11 girls on the roster in 2025.  The Jayettes missed out on having a junior varsity team for a second straight year.  Head Coach Emma Olejniczak knows they need to grow the numbers.

The first year coach loved the attendance in the stands.  The Jayettes hosted numerous theme nights like Alumni Night, Military & First Responders Appreciation Night, and Strikeout Cancer Night to name a few.  Coach Olejniczak has revamped the offseason workout to help with participation.

“Getting opportunities to the youth girls to get interactions with the high school team and the high school coaches.  We offered five pitching and catching sessions and then ten actually hitting sessions for the youth.  Coach and I are continuing to look to you know revamp that cuz it starts as soon as they are in t-ball all the way up to us.  We need to make sure that our feeder program you know is full, full of girls.”

The Jayettes finished the year 7-13-1.  Emma Olejniczak  will host multiple camps next week in Perry.
