In a world of inflation, sometimes price increases are inevitable.
Panorama Superintendent Kasey Huebner mentions that this is something that was discussed at the July meeting of the Panorama School Board, and tells Raccoon Valley Radio what they discussed, and that they decided to go against the trend in one area.
“We looked at adjusting our fees for district fees, and obviously with lunch prices, those prices will increase. But you know, we’re getting so used to increasing prices, we’re actually decreasing our season pass activity prices. The West Central Activities Conference is increasing their price, and instead of that, we wanted to try to take the burden off of family, so we’re decreasing our season passes for students $50 and then for families as well.”
Huebner says that individual tickets for people buying them to get to each game will be $7, so they are hoping the reduced price of the activity pass will be something enticing to students, families and community members.
