Iowans still have time to purchase home good items as many people will be selling materials across the state.
The Iowa Highway 141 Garage Sale began yesterday, with 21 cities participating spanning 177 miles from Sloan to Grimes. The Highway 141 Association details that residents in one of the communities that would like to sell items will need to pay a registration fee between $5-$10 as the money is being used to reinvest into your community.
For drivers traveling, pay extra attention to vehicles pulling off the side of the road and pedestrians walking at nearby houses. The garage sales will run through today, with communities in Dallas County taking part including Dawson, Bouton, Woodward, and Perry.
