
The Adel City Council will meet tomorrow evening.
The meeting will start with a discussion on the request for a contribution from the city for the Lighted Bridge Rehabilitation Project on the Raccoon River Valley Trail and then hear an update on the public safety needs assessment project. Additionally, they will consider several other topics for approval including the future plans for Meadow Road, the job description for the Community Development Director position, a sidewalk regulation request from O’Reilly Auto Parts, and proposals from the Executive Recruiting Firms.
They will also consider for approval an amendment to restate the Urban Revitalization Plan to extend commercial tax abatement and hear a nuisance property update. The Council will also discuss goal setting session options, a no parking request on 9th Street from the RRVT to Prairie Street. The Council will also discuss an Iowa Public Information Board Training requirements for newly elected and appointed officials, as well as a Public Information Meeting on the construction of a new roundabout on Iowa Highway 169 that is scheduled for August 12th.
The City Council meeting is taking place Tuesday evening at 6pm City Hall.
