The boys of fall officially begin their work for the football season today.

Players have been in and out of the weight room all year since last season, but today they have the first practice of the 2025 season. Returners like Brexton Schneider, Xander Harwood, Joe Crawford, Carter Richter, Jack Sheeder and Tommy Skram will be important building blocks to the team’s success behind Head Coach Cody Matthewson this year. The team has several spots to fill, but in most cases was running two deep last season, and won’t have much trouble getting that taken care of. The big question out there for Chargers fans this season? Who will be playing at quarterback? Matthewson says these first weeks of practice will help with making the decision, but he’s got two individuals that he’s currently looking at for the spot.
