Today is the first day of the four day Greene County Rams High School Football Camp. It’s from 8-10:30 a.m. for four straight days through this Thursday at the middle school in Jefferson. Head Coach Caden Duncan and his staff will be running the camp and it will lead into a Friday, Aug. 8 trip to Dallas Center-Grimes High School for a padded camp with the host Mustangs and Interstate 35 (Truro).

The coach is also looking forward to the Wednesday, Aug. 6 Youth Camp for those entering third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. That’s at the middle school from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Duncan said it holds special importance this year because the Youth program here in cooperation with Greene County Youth Athletic Association (GCYAA) is going back to flag football for this age group instead of tackle football.
