A Jefferson man was recently arrested for an alleged assault.

According to court documents, Jefferson Police Officers responded to a call of an alleged assault on July 22nd. Upon arriving on scene, the victim had noticeable injuries that a physical assault took place. Court documents show that the victim told officers the assailant had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival and indicated where the suspect may have gone. 

The criminal complaint shows that officers found the suspect at another residence where 29-year-old Devin Holm-Morales was arrested and charged with a Class D Felony for domestic abuse assault-impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury and an aggravated misdemeanor for his second offense for domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury. He was booked into the Greene County Jail and remains there under a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
