The Stuart Police Department is once again hosting a community event on a day celebrated across the nation with other police departments.
Sergeant Katie Guisinger says that National Night Out is tomorrow, and that their festivities will be from 5-8pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that community members don’t have to worry about a price to attend.
“It doesn’t cost anyone anything that night. We provide everything. And it’s just for everyone in the community to know we also appreciate them and all the appreciation they give us through the year.”
Guisinger mentions that there will be a grill out, with bounce houses, face paintings and tours of emergency services vehicles. She adds there will also be a donut eating contest, raffle prizes and a sweet treat from The Cup on Second.
