As camp began on Monday for the West Central Valley Wildcat football team, head coach Jim Lindsay and senior Connor Beane discussed the future of the Wildcat offensive line. Beane, a starting tackle on the offensive line as a junior last season, has now been tasked by head coach Lindsay to transition into the starting center for the Wildcats this season.
While reflected on Beane’s jump from starting tackle to starting center, head coach Jim Lindsay had nothing but praise for his senior lineman.
“he’s done a great job this summer at open fields and everything. He gets with our quarterbacks and works on snaps asking where they want it, things like that. For somebody that has never played center before that can be a little overwhelming but Connor didn’t even bat an eye about it.”
Wildcat football camp continues this week as the West Central Valley Wildcats prepare for the upcoming football season.
