An incoming senior on the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football Team has made a decision about his college career.

Tiger senior Leyton Gerleman has verbally committed to Dordt University in Sioux City, Iowa to continue his football career after high school. During the 2024 season, Gerleman played at the Defensive Back position, where defensively he racked 37 total tackles, with 33 on his own. He also caused two interceptions on the year, as ADM ended up with 19 at the conclusion of the season. 

Gerleman is a 2026 graduate, and is hoping to lead the Tigers to the UNI-Dome to compete for a state championship. ADM’s first regular season game will be on August 29th in Winterset.
