Graveside service for  Linda Jean Sheer, 78, of Bayard, will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Highland Township Cemetery near Bayard, IA, with Carolyn Schwarts – Pastor officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to P.A.W.S. of Greene County.

     Linda is survived by her husband Calvin “Kelly” Sheer of rural Bayard; a son Jason Sheer (Elaine) of Johnston; a son-in-law Anton “Tony” Maurth of Des Moines; five grandsons: Carson, Davis, William, Trent, and Levi; two brothers: Carroll Lee Greenlee (Lynn) of Bayard and Keith Greenlee (Sherrie) of Pleasantville; a brother-in-law Stephen Sheer (Cheryl) of Jefferson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
