
The AC/GC Chargers graduated several key pieces from their team last year, but there are also several that are making their way back to the field for the team.
Leading the team in rushing yards was now senior Joe Crawford, who carried the ball 89 times for 991 yards, making 11.1 yards per carry and nine touchdowns, with the longest touchdown being 72 yards. Crawford also led in receiving yards, with 15 receptions for 279 yards, making 18.6 yards per completion, with four touchdowns, the longest being for 60 yards.
On the defensive side, now senior Xander Harwood led in total tackles with 70.5, solo tackles with 49, while now senior Jack Sheeder led in sacks with 2.5, and fellow now senior Brexton Schneider led in tackles for a loss with 12. Four different returners all had a fumble recovery last season, with all returning now as seniors. This includes Schneider, Oliver Wetzel, Harwood and Sheeder.
With interceptions, Crawford and now senior Tommy Skram led with two apiece, with Skram leading in yards gained by interception by getting 25 yards. Skram also led in kick returns with three, while Crawford led in kick return yards with 38, and yards per return with 19. Crawford also led in punt returns, getting the ball six times and going 109 yards for 18.2 yards per return. Wetzel led in kicking for the team, with 67 kickoffs, with four touchbacks for 2,581 yards, 51 PATs made of the 56 attempted for 51 points.
