The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library has a multi month long event going on.

Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that there is a book sale that they are holding. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the sale is a free will offering, and what kind of books can be found.

“Fiction, children’s books, some gardening books, some cookbooks, some home repair books, lots of nonfiction books, some biographies, some inspirational. So if you’re looking for a book that maybe you don’t want to return to the library, that’s a great opportunity to come in and get some of those as well.”

Hawkins mentions that the sale started at the end of July, and will go through October 1st, so that there is plenty of time for people to come in and find a book that they like.
