Last night the Stuart Police Department invited the community out as part of National Night Out.

The community was out in full, enjoying a grilled hot dog meal provided by the department, and were able to play on inflatables, or get their faces painted as well. Guthrie County Assistant Attorney Charles Abel, who will be moving into Stuart once his home is finished being built told Raccoon Valley Radio that he thought it was a fun event, and that he also thought it was great for his son to be able to meet so many kids from the community, along with Stuart Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger, who is also the West Central Valley School Resource Officer. There were also two food trucks, serving sweet treats, a donut eating contest, and a raffle with several prizes.
