Owen Myers continues to be recognized following the most recent baseball season.  This time however it has to do with his work in the classroom.

Myers was the lone Bluejay representative on the 39th All-Academic Teams by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association. To qualify, players must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 during the season and be a senior.

The recent Perry graduate has been named First Team Heart of Iowa, Academic All-Conference Team, and First Team All District this summer.

Myers will continue his baseball career as he’ll suit up for Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids.
