Registration for an informational workshop is open through Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.

Program Director Shelby Van Horn says that individuals can register for a drone spraying essentials workshop that is actually being held in Ames. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why the workshop is being held.

“Drones are really up and coming in the spray industry and so I think it’s just a really great opportunity for people to learn about, you know, set up, planning, safety and just kind of learning what all drones do in the spray industry.”

Van Horn mentions that the workshop will have a few different spray drone demonstrations, along with some guest speakers that will be going over the information.
