Limited tickets are available for the final two shows at a regional theater in Jefferson.

History Boy Theatre Company is performing “Rocky: the Musical” because the founder Robby Pedersen says much like the story of Rocky Balboa, they emulate that at History Boy as the story of passion, dedication, determination, strength, heart, love and “going the distance” which is what everyone with History Boy does every time there is a show.

He and his adult daughter Samantha are a little sad to see the end of an era with History Boy lasting 17 years. However, the last couple of shows had given them time to think back and every single show that has led to now. The last few performances represent 1,000’s of hours of work and inspired art.

The performances are tonight at 7pm and tomorrow at 2pm. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased in advance by calling 515-943-5639 or at the door.
